Compassion into action.
Hope into change.
A Nepal-based humanitarian and social organization working alongside people and communities facing hardship, vulnerability, and crisis.
Compassion Into Action. Hope Into Change.
Minerva Foundation is a Nepal-based humanitarian and social organization dedicated to supporting people and communities facing hardship, vulnerability, and crisis.
We believe that meaningful change begins with compassion and that when people come together, even a small contribution can become a source of hope for someone in need.
Built from service. Driven by purpose.
Minerva Foundation grew from years of personal involvement in community service and humanitarian support.
Before the Foundation was formally established, its founder, Mr. Topindra Prasad Sapkota (Milan), had been supporting students and families in remote and underserved communities through his personal efforts and earnings.
His experiences during the 2015 earthquake, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other humanitarian situations strengthened his belief that social service should have a dedicated and sustainable platform.
On February 9, 2017, the decision to establish the organization was made. It was officially registered on February 15, 2017, marking the formal establishment of Minerva Foundation.
The Foundation was named after the founder’s daughter, Minerva, with the hope of inspiring the next generation to learn and carry forward the values of compassion, responsibility, and service to society.
Standing beside people when they need support most.
Our purpose is simple: to stand beside people when they need support most.
We focus on practical and compassionate assistance for children and students, persons with disabilities, elderly and vulnerable people, families facing hardship, people with health challenges, remote communities, and those affected by disasters and emergencies.
Support with compassion and responsibility.
To provide compassionate, practical, and responsible support to vulnerable people and communities while promoting education, inclusion, dignity, and resilience.
A society where no one is left alone.
A compassionate and inclusive society where people facing hardship are not left alone, and where the spirit of helping others continues from one generation to the next.
Every contribution should create meaningful impact.
Minerva Foundation is committed to working with volunteers, donors, partners, and well-wishers to ensure that support reaches people who genuinely need it.
We aim to use every contribution—whether time, skills, resources, or financial support—responsibly and where it can create meaningful impact.
Connecting people, purpose and community.
As a nonprofit organization, Minerva Foundation depends on the generosity and participation of people who believe in making a difference.
To create a sustainable approach to fundraising and community engagement, the Foundation also plans to organize Charity Treks and Volunteer Treks in Nepal.
These initiatives bring together travelers, trekking enthusiasts, volunteers, and local communities—allowing participants to experience Nepal while contributing to meaningful social causes.
A portion of funds raised through these initiatives can be directed toward identified needs in education, humanitarian assistance, disability support, community development, and disaster response.
Travel with purpose.
Experience Nepal, connect with local communities, volunteer your time, and contribute to causes that matter.
Travel with purpose. Volunteer with heart. Give with meaning.
Responding to real needs, close to the community.
Our work is guided by real needs and direct community experience.
From supporting students in remote government schools to responding to the 2015 earthquake, assisting vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting persons with disabilities and care homes, and responding to communities affected by natural disasters, Minerva Foundation continues to stand beside people during difficult times.
Our support may include food, medicines, clothing, educational materials, cooking gas, wheelchairs, essential household supplies, and emergency assistance, depending on the needs identified in each community.
Following the devastating floods and destruction in Nuwakot in August 2026, the Foundation continues to explore ways to support affected families and communities within its capacity.
Your contribution can become someone else's hope.
You can support Minerva Foundation through donations, Charity Treks, Volunteer Treks, volunteering, partnerships, or community initiatives.
Your contribution may be small to you, but it can become meaningful hope for someone else.
Together, let us turn compassion into action.
Support education, join a charity trek, volunteer your time, contribute to humanitarian response, or partner with Minerva Foundation Nepal.
Leadership rooted in experience and service.
